Cabic Promotions CEO Expresses Joy Over SWAG Recognition

Mr. Ivan Bruce Cudjoe, Chief Executive Officer of Cabic Promotions has expressed his joy and appreciation to the Sports Writers of Ghana (SWAG) for recognising and rewarding their company at the 44th MTN SWAG Awards ceremony at the Accra International Conference Center last Saturday.

Receiving the trophy as 2018 Promoter of the Year, he said Cabic has been in existence for a short period but their quality production of entertainment and boxing events, as well as their awareness programmes on the dangers of drug abuse have caught the eye of the media and the award will urge him on the offer more quality leadership and organize innovative events.

He adviced boxers to have patience in life and train hard every time to be in shape always.

“Getting to the top is not easy, and staying at the top requires hard work, commitment and sacrifice” he said.

Mr. Bruce Cudjoe said their aim and main objective of winning a world boxing title is always on his mind, and prayed that Cabic will get Ghana another world champion. He promised to take the Cabic ‘Catch Them Young’ programme to the regions, especially the north to unearth other talents.

“We came in as underdogs, but now the SWAG award will let corporate Ghana believe and partner or sponsor our events” he said.

He hinted that their last boxing match which featured Richard Harrison Lartey in London has opened doors and opportunity for the Ghanaian boxer and he needs to defend his WBO Africa Heavyweight title. He revealed that Lartey has won many fans in London.

Marketing Manager of Cabic, Gideon Jingles Ohiazo who presented to trophy to the CEO said the next Cabic bill may take place in July.
