Ghana’s former world champion Joshua “The Grand Master” Clottey (39-5,22KOs) has stated in clear terms his desire to come back into the ring on March 8 as solely for the love of game and nothing else.

“I want to say here and now that I am not after the money. There is even no money on this bout but I am only fighting for the love and passion for the sport.”
The former IBF world champion said.

He refuted the age argument, stating “Age is just a number a number and a mind set. I have watched over my body very well. You are going to see me fight in Ghana for the first time in a long time.
The truth is you cant cheat your body hence this fight is crucial. I will decide my future in the game after the fight and of course I leave it to your(media) judgement and advise.”

The former Welterweight Champion, Joshua ‘The Hitter’ Clottey (39-5, 22 KOs) Said in an interview.

The Ghanaian is vigorously preparing to launch a comeback against Dar-Es-Salaam born, Tanzanian Mfaume Mfaume (14-5-2, 6KOs) at Box Office’s ‘Bukom Brawl’ christened March 8 at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra, Ghana.

Featuring on the bill, is the battle to reclaim local dominance and bragging rights as Michael ‘One Bullet’ Ansah clash gloves the second time against the self styled “One Time” Sheriff Quaye.

Box Office which is bankrolled by Alex Ntiamoah — an experienced Ghanaian promoter is noted for organising blockbuster match-ups and most definitely March 8 promises not to disappoint.
