Kamoko aka “Bukom Banku” has given a green light for the rematch between him and Samir Bastir to take place. Despite making it clear he’ll not grant a rematch with his only beater. He gave a condition under which the rematch can happen.
Following a story published by BoxingGhana yesterday headlined, “WBU Champ Braimah Kamoko fears to grant Samir Bastie a rematch”, Bukom Banku responded in a tweet
“If day (they) can give me millions dollars why not let’s go”.
Despite making it clear he’s not going to grant a rematch due to a superstitious reason, the WBU champ’s focus is now on business terms.
Having stated clearly his request for million dollars from Bastie’s camp, I asked the “Africa’s Mayweather” how much he’s expecting before granting the rematch.
“I don’t care. My bank manager is waiting. 2 million, and I will make it happen again, and beat him hands down. Also I’m not going to loss weight again. I’m the best 🥊” He replied on the same medium (Twitter).
Bramiah Kamoko has therefore thrown a challenge to Team Bastie, not only needing $2 million, but also promised to beat him.
“…I will make it happen again and beat him hands down” Bukom Banku on twitter.
Whether Team Bastie can raise such amount or not, Banku believes he’s on another level and hence deserves that amount.
“That is the level of world champion. They have to understand the level now 🤷” He said
The battle line has been drawn. Will Samir Bastie pay Bukom Banku such an amount, even if his camp can raise it? We live that to time and Team Bastie.
