Tonight at the Abetifi Center, Kwahu, in the Eastern region of Ghana, Braimah Kamoko will clash gloves with his Nigerian opponent Kabiru Towolawi in a Cruiserweight Contest over10 Rounds.
Ranked 298 against Kabiru’s 479 Bukom Banku is extremely sure of his victory on the Hills of Kwahu, the highest point in the whole of Ghana.
“I’m going to win this fight quick because my main target is a rematch with Bastie Samir. I cant accept that defeat.” Braimah Kamoko stated.
The programme is put together by Kwahu Republic in their annual musical festival dubbed the Bliss on the Hills.
The promoter of the Braimah Kamoko/ Kabiru fight is the professor, Azumah Nelson’s Boxing Promotional outfit christened the- Azumah Nelson’s Fight Night.
Abdul Rasheed Williams popularly known in the Ghanaian boxing circles as ‘Believer’ and solomon Lartey are the matchmakers for this bout.
Nicknamed ‘KB Godson,’ Kabiru is known in his native Nigeria as a ‘Knockout Artist.’ With just ten fights and a solitary defeat with nine wins, seven of those wins came by way of TKO’s.
Kabiru attempted the Nigerian Light Heavyweight Title but lost to Adewale Masebinu (2-2,2 KOs).
He comes up against his toughest opposition in Bukom Banku who has chalked thirty victories so far in 31 bouts with 23 by way of TKOs in 162 rounds of boxing. Briamah Issah Kamoko’s only defeat came in the hands of Samir Bastie, the opponent he has being craving to re-fight.
