“Hello brother Foh’ , Hello brother Foh’.,..phone rings with no response.

My colleague Reverend Ampofo tries for the second time and the lines finally pulls through.

We had to negotiate some bends around the MELCOM building and finally there I was – face to face with the man who is deeply revered in the pugilist sport.

He drove us through the serene neighbourhood into his plush abode.

The agenda for our discussions was on the upcoming Fist of Fury Tournament slated for the March 6th at the Bukom Boxing emporium.

Brother Foh,as he is widely known is an accomplished gentleman, down to earth and very lovely to be with.

Moses Foh Amoaning’s legal decor and rich insight into sports law, coupled with his enormous marketing curriculum has sustained the fistic regional train of the “fist of Fury”.

The boxing brain admonished the media enclave to give more publicity to boxing. He was of the view that the boxing has become one of the best products in recent times and that with more media hype, our boxers would benefit greatly from it.

The Fist of Fury boxing night has attracted fans across the country and has seen many quality and exuberant boxers rising up in talents.

On March 6th, probably after the Independence day celebrations the next country side attraction will surely be at the Bukom native arena.

Many boxers have been unearthed in this enterprises and it is firmly believed that the event has yielded dividends.

The likes of Robert Quaye, Michael Ansah, Wasiru Mohammed etc are all products of this event.

Bro Moses Foh Amoaning believes enough attention is needed on these boys.

Ghana is working out the strategy for future world champions. And the way to go is certainly to promote more boxers through the “Fist of Fury”.

March 6th is close. Boxingghana will surely represent.
