The role of boxing promoters in the discovery of boxing talent in Ghana can’t be underestimated.

Boxing promoters make it their business to provide the platform to enable the discovery of boxing talents and the making of worldchampions.

Thus, whiles members of the association are competitors, they are not rivals and therefore see the need to work closely together to advance the course of Ghana boxing.

Members of the association have therefore seen the need to come together as an association to as well cater for the welfare of itsmembers.

The association laments the lack of sponsorship from corporate Ghana as one of the major challengesthat promoters face in our bid to stage more competitive fights in order to discover more talents.

Members of the association are therefore appealing to corporate Ghana to invest more in boxingpromotions and be rest assured that, more world champions will emerge from Ghana.

The BPA is alsocalling on the media for more publicity and sponsorship to help attract more investment into boxing.
