Box Office Sports Promotions have signed a sponsorship deal with Somoco Ghana Limited, distributors/ marketers of Boxer Motorcycles & Bajaj RE Tricycles for the “RUMBLE TO FREEDOM” ASHIE vs QUAYE slated for March 6, 2022 at the Bukom Boxing Arena.
The General Manager – Mr. Shankar Sharma penned the agreement on behalf of his outfit Somoco Ghana Limited whiles Promoter / CEO of Box Office Sports Promotions signed on behalf of his company.
Mr. Shankar Sharma informed that their brand Boxer Motorcycle is ready to support sports especially boxing as their brand name Boxer rhymes with the sport of boxing and therefore he’s aware that most of their customers are the core fans of boxing as boxing fans are the community people where these boxers comes from and finding a right partner like Box Office Sports Promotions will help both brands to sour to greater heights.
He promised his outfit is ready to support boxing through Box Office Sports Promotions for bigger things coming up in the near future that would raise Ghana’s next set of boxing stars.
In the attendance were the main event boxers – George “Red Tiger” Ashie and Robert “Stopper” Quaye as well as other Somoco Group officials Richter Kportufe – Marketing Manager, Jerry Halm (Group Consultant – Corporate Affairs) and Frank Mickson-Yeboah – Group Marketing Manager were present at the ceremony held on Friday 11th February, 2022 at the Somoco Showroom at North Industrial Area in Accra.
