Alex Ntiamoah-Boakye’s Box Office Sports Promotions are set for a double header promotional show in the month of September headlined by Joshua Clottey and George Ashie on 20th and 22nd.
The first show is expected to take place at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra-Ghana, where George Ashie (29-5-1,21 KOs), a former World Boxing Organisation Africa Lightweight Titlist, leads the bill against Nigeria’s undefeated Otto Joseph (15-0,6 KOs), the defending African Boxing Union champion scheduled September 20, 2019 at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra-Ghana.
Then on 22nd of September, former IBF world champion will headline the Odwira Festival Boxing Night with Box Office Sports Promotions in an International Super Welterweight contest between Joshua Clottey and Tanzanian Azizi Mponda which is the headline bout on the night.
Ashie, a former holder of the African Boxing Union Light Title relishes becoming a two-time holder of the strap with a win against Otto Joseph, a holder of the belt since 2007. Elsewhere at Akuapem, in the Eastern Region of Ghana, former IBF welterweight champion Joshua Clottey (39-5, 22 KOs) makes a return to the ring against Azizi Mponda (15-3-2,9 KOs) who recently lost in his attempt to win a first career silverware when he took on 21 year old Emile Kalekuze in a vacant International Boxing Federation Youth Super Welter Title in South Africa.
