Bliss on the Hills, Bastir Samir headlines card

Box office promotions in collaboration with Kwehu Republic stages a rich card on boxing day the 26th of December on the hills of Kwehu Abetifi headlined by Bastie Samir.

Samir is billed to face Sunday Ajuwa from Nigeria in a 10 round light heavyweight contest.
Samir 33, (17-0-1, 16KOs) the undefeated Ghanaian light heavyweight shared his excitement to head the card for the Box Office promotions event dubbed Bliss on the Hills. “I want to thank Alex Ntiamoah-Boakye, the CEO of the Box Office promotions for this opportunity after my last fight at the Bukom Boxing Arena. This is my job and that is what we do, so I’m always ready to climb the ring and do what I do best”.

Samir fought arguably Ghana’s and Africa’s most sensational boxer Braimah Kamoko aka Bukom Banku in a gruelling encounter and dispatched him by a round 7 TKO. Kamoko later discredited Samir in an interview alleging that he used some supernatural power. “I’m not waiting for Banku but if he is ready, I’m ready. I don’t know of any powers that will make a short person become tall in the ring” Samir quickly responded when quizzed on Kamoko’s allegations.
Samir was of the ring for 14 months from the Kamoko fight and returned to take on Raoul Lokossou who also suffered a round 2 KO.

The Bliss on the Hills promises an exciting night of good boxing, wonderful celebration of Christmas with music and celebration of life.

Sherif Quaye, Michael “One Bullet” Ansah, George “Red Tiger” Ashie and sensational new chap on block Alfred Lamptey are on the card with yet to be announced opponents.
