Germany based Liberian boxer Freddy Kiwitt Alias ‘Pretty Boy'(14-2,8KOs) is ready to fight Paddy Gallagher for the chance to win the WBO European Welterweight strap come 22, February 2019 at the York Hall in England.

Patrick Gallagher a native of Belfast, Northern Ireland in United Kingdom, is the current BUI Celtic Welterweight champion after a 3rd round KO of Jay Byrne over the scheduled 8 rounder on the 5th of October 2018 at the Titanic Exhibition Centre in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Patrick Gallagher aka ‘Pat-Man’ (15-4,9KOs), has so far 19 bouts to his credit, 81 rounds of ring action with KO percentage ratio of 47.

The 29 year old Brit lost a controversial split decision in April to American Brad Solomon at the KFC Yum Centre, Louisville – Kentucky in the States over 10 rounds.

In 2017, Paddy won the BBB of Celtic Welterweight title against Gary Murray, a title he won against Tony Dixon a year earlier but was dethroned by Tamuka Mucha, a Harare (Salisbury) Zimbabwean born British at the Wembley Arena in London on Friday November 18,2016.

He comes up against an African born German in Frederick Gloyluo better known in the sweet science as Freddy Kiwitt.

The self styled Pretty Boy is coming from a vintage KOed victory over the very experienced Ghanaian fighter Frank Dodzi.

He also won against Jummane Camero over 8 rounds on points. He controversially failed in his attempt to defend the BBBofC’s southern area Welterweight title against Louis Greene after winning it against Erick Ochieng via a 7round TKO on July 9, 2017.

BoxingGhana caught up with the young and ambitious naturalised African German, Freddy Kiwitt.

Enjoy this short dialogue ;

Nice to have you Freddy let’s get straight to business

Que: How well do you know you opponent ?

Ans: I watched a few tapes.

Que: How prepared are you

I’m always in shape. I have 5 more weeks and I’ll be ready by the date(22-2-2019).

Que: What should fans expect from you

Ans: Fireworks. This opportunity just came up this week and I’ll grab it with both hands. Fight for the European title and after the African title. My opponent has an aggressive style but I believe my speed and quickness will box me to victory.

At age 28, with over 73 rounds of boxing and a KO percentage ratio of 50, this fight is seriously going to be a close-to-call.
