Alfred Lamptey to face Muksini Swalehe for the IBF Intercontinental African belt

The vacant International Boxing Federation Continental Africa Super Feather Title is set for the winner between Ghana’s young talented pugilist Alfred Lamptey and his nemesis from Tanzania Muksini Swalehe.

Christened Friday the 10th of June at the Bukom Boxing Arena, Accra-Ghana commissioned by the Ghana Boxing Authority led by Abraham Kotei Neequaye’s administration, the self styled ‘Bukom Bomber’ must get past his 29 year old Muksini D. Swalehe to stay on course for his world title ambitions.

The 10 rounds championship will see the current Sports Writer’s Association of Ghana (SWAG) professional boxer of the year 2021 add to his already rich cabinet of belts won at his young age of 20years.

Alfred is the current World Boxing Council Youth Silver Super Featherweight titlist, World Boxing Organisation Youth Super Feather champion, West African Boxing Union Featherweight king and the Universal Boxing Organization (UBO) African Feather champion.

His current record reads 10 professional career bouts with no defeat, with 8 of those victories coming by way of knockouts. Against his Dar-Es-Salaam born and resident Muksini Swalehe, who has 11 professional career fights with 9 victories, a defeat and a draw each to his credit.

Swalehe’s 68 rounds of professional pugilism action translates to 9.09% knockout ratio compares to that of Alfred’s 80% in 42 rounds of boxing so far in his career.

The Tanzanian sole career defeat came at the hands of red-hot Joshua Oluwaseun Wahab in July of last year when he attempted the then vacant World Boxing Organisation Africa Super Feather Title.

Make no mistake, this fight is still not a walk in the park for the undefeated Ghanaian boxer Lamptey as Swalehe is still a tough customer to take lightly.

This fight is under the promotional wings of Probellum who secured the signature of Ghanaian super-featherweight champion Alfred Lamptey just recently.

It’s a straight victory for the young Ghanaian featherweight star Alfred ‘the BukomBomber’ Lamptey.
