PRESS RELEASE: ACE Power Promotions presents ‘Thunder In Volta’ on April 11th

27 January, 2020, Accra – We are pleased to announce our masterpiece match as ACE Power Promotions on April 11th at Dzodze in the Volta Region of Ghana as we continue our quest to develop Ghana boxing and produce many more world champions.

ACE Power Promotions is a newly rebranded boxing syndicate licensed by the Ghana Boxing Authority. Having done some work previously, on which our premium fighter Dodzi ‘Zewuze’ Kemeh won the IBF Africa super welterweight title. Based on that experience, we have developed innovative strategies to promote the organization of professional boxing competitions in Ghana. ACE foresees active involvement from various stakeholders in the entertainment, corporate, political, and religious sectors in the future.

Our major preoccupation is to create the platform for boxers in this country to develop and rise to be world fighters beginning with our premiere show headlined by our own Dodzi Kemeh on 11 April, in the Volta Region. This match is in furtherance of our other ambition to take boxing to the grassroots.

We also hope to garner support from some of Ghana’s top musicians to perform at our promotions in the near future. We find it paramount to get the corporate world to invest in Ghana boxing by sponsoring our promotions, gyms, officials and the boxers themselves.

“We want to take Ghanaian boxing to the next level. We want to nurture the young ones and help blossom them to the world stage. We are here to solve Ghana’s world title problems, and we also want to win more world titles for Ghana,” said Isaac Amankwaah, Director of Operations of ACE Power Promotions.

“We plan to organize a minimum of three promotions every year. We plan to do things professionally, where our boxers will be given all equipment and tools that will help them succeed,” Mr. Amankwaah added.

“That is very important because when we are able to run boxing professionally, it puts us in a good position to attract corporate support. Corporate sponsorship is the support Ghana boxing needs to challenge at the world level because we have the talents in huge numbers,” he stated.

To the media, we invite you to join our crusade to put Ghana boxing where it really belongs at the top of world boxing. Let’s work together to give our boxers the best coverage possible in the media and it will go a long way to inspiring and pushing our boxers to achieve our ultimate agenda of winning more world titles for Ghana.
