The most anticipated boxing bout under the Ace Power Promotions themed, ‘WAR ZONE’ has been postponed due to circumstances beyond the control of the promoters.

In a press release, the promoters of ‘War Zone’ made known to the media in a letter dated 1st July 2021 stating “Due to circumstances beyond our control, Ace power Promotions regret to announce that the “War Zone” boxing bout, scheduled for Saturday, July 10, at the Bukom Boxing Arena, has been postponed until further notice. Our partners, DiBella Entertainment and Streetwise Management, have been informed of the situation and we are being kept up to date with all developments.”

As this is very difficult for boxers who have trained towards this bout, it is difficult for promoters and spectators since they have anticipated the thrills on the bout and the entertainment it will feast their eyes with.

The letter released by Ace Power Promotions further stated “Ace Power Promotions wish to offer sincere apologies to all those whose hard work helped put this promotion together. Including the World Boxing Organization (WBO), our partners and sponsors but, most of all, the boxers who have been training hard for this opportunity. We are working to secure a new date and will inform all parties in due course. Thank you.”

After this release, BoxinGhana.com representative Nana Kojo Sakyie Eduafo-Quansah asked a boxing enthusiast, Mr. Israel Kofi Korsah how he felt after hearing this news and he replied, “I was on my way to get my ticket and you met me with this news. But I know its for the best, if the promoters see the need to postpone the bout date to another then they have a just course to do so, but I am still waiting till the bout is redated.”
