The Azumah Nelson Fight Night is gradually extending the art of pugilism to every facet of the country.
Wednesday, the 26th of December 2019 is the date christened for the next Azumah Nelson’s fight night which has been in deep collaboration with Kwahu Republic.
Dubbed “Bliss On The Hills,’’ the annual Christmas week long of music and other entertaining activities has this time added this fistic event which will feature one of Ghana’s finest boxers Braimah Kamoko aka Bukom Banku against his Nigerian opponent.
The press conference was held earlier today and was graced by Abdul Rashid Williams, aka “BELIEVER” who happens to be the matchmaker, Lord Isaac Kpakpo Aquaye, Rabbon Doudou and all of the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA).
The rest includes Acting Media Coordinator, Kwasi Ernest, Akuba Nortey as well as Yaw Sakyi Afari, who is the manager of Azumah Nelson, and the Professor Azumah Nelson himself.
When BoxingGhana’s Samuel Ofosuhene quizzed the Professor why the idea behind this laudable initiative, he stated;
“The boxing economy must be spread beyond just the Capital. There are good boxers all over Ghana and we believe it’s time to venture those areas and give every Ghanaian the opportunity.”He answered.
Indeed the Azumah Nelson brand is moving boxing through the whole of Ghana as the Chief Executive Officer, Yaw Sakyi Afari equally reiterated the plans of moving the sport to every corner in the country.
