9-year old Boxer Wesley Ayi Bontey Dreams of Becoming World Champion

9-year old Ghanaian boxer, Wesley Nii Okaidja Ayi Bontey has disclosed his ambition to be a world  champion in the future.

According to Minstry of Health-MOH basic school pupil, the reason why he likes the sport of boxing is to be a world champion some day.

“My best game is boxing”, young Wesley said.

“The reason why I like boxing is because I want to be a world champion”, he added.

Wesley Nii Okaidja Ayi Bontey has been training at Wisdom Boxing Gym under the tutelage of Black Bombers coach, Ofori Asare for almost a year now.

The budding boxing talent had his first fight at the Ghana Amateur Boxing Association(GABA)’s juvenile Tournament earlier this year where he earned the title “the king of drills” because of his defensive display.

Affectionately called Lee at members of the Wisdom Boxing Gym, Wesley Nii Okaidja Ayi Bontey is agressive and skillful and obviously one to be watched out for.
