Isaac Dogboe handlers, Rising Star Africa Promotions, have announced date for their charge’s clash against Jessie Magdaleno.
Dogboe will be challenging Magdaleno for the latter’s WBO World super bantamweight belt in USA on April 28th.
The date for the clash was announced on Thursday in a new conference at the five-star Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra.
Following the confirmation of the upcoming fight, Dogboe in speaking to the media expressed his readiness for the April fight.
He added that, his aim is to win the ultimate and there is no way the Mexican can stop him from achieving that feat.
The Ghanaian however, issued a stern warning to the champion that he will destroy him on the aforementioned date.
Regarding the fight, Magdaleno’s promoter Top Rank granted an interview and said that Dogboe-Magdaleno fight is on April 14th at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
However, a questioned was posed to Rising Star Africa Promotions about the actual date for the fight and Dogboe’s manager Marwan Zakeem said the two camps are still in talks and nothing has been finalised.
He concluded that, the date they have on their table is April 28th so the public should go by that.
Dogboe set himself up against Magdaleno when he stopped Mexico’s Cesar Juarez in round five to win the vacant interim WBO World super bantamweight belt on January 6th, 2018 at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra, Ghana.
