According to the “Royal Storm” Isaac Dogboe, the year 2018 has a mixer of blessings and lessons.
“2018 has been a blessing and a lesson.” Isaac Dogboe Said.
Speaking on his new year message to the fans, The twenty four year old Ghanaian former WBO Super bantamweight champion thanked everybody that supported his career in diverse ways and promised of a better new year ahead.
“I want to thank everybody for their support. My family especially my father and all the fans. 2018 has been a blessing and a lesson. We are optimistic for 2019.”
The hardworking Ghanaian fighter who turned Professional in 2013, surprisingly lost his world strap in his second defence of his title that he won against Mexican American Jesse Magdaleno via an 11th round stoppage in May of last year 2018.
After his successful first round devastating TKO over Japanese Hidenori Otake in his maiden defense of the belt, complacency sipped inn culminating into his shock defeat to Emanuel Navarrete, an opponent with height and reach advantage.
The second showdown between Ghana’s Dogboe and Mexican Navarrete is set for May of this year according to Paul Dogboe, the protege and father of the boxer..though the actual date is yet to be announced.
